Just by joining relevant business relates sites either it is forums, networking/community sites, directories, blog commenting, guest blog posting, Internal linking and by sharing quality of content .

Yes i agree with peter dan, you can build your links by posting in social networking sites and share it. So it will gain popularity. Link wheel is one of the technique which is effective in building our links.
